People are quick to point out what is wrong, who is responsible and why/how they should be punished. To play the role of prosecuting attorney, lead criminal detective and judge all at once is a lot to manage and probably a conflict of interest. So why bother at all?
I thank God because there is no argument or negotiation, titles or pride when it comes to grace and mercy. He gives it to us freely and urges us to do the same with others, even when they don’t deserve it or refuse to reciprocate it towards us.
It’s important to keep in mind the following truths from one of my favorite scriptures:
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight,” ‭‭JUDE‬ ‭1:24‬ ‭AMP
  1. God is the ONLY one that is able to keep you, others are not. Be confident and walk as a kept person, a cared for child of God, not an unsafe orphan in the world.
  2. As a believer in Christ you are forgiven, innocent, free. Don’t carry around the burden of unnecessary guilty or others’ irrelevant judgement.
  3. Issa party and God is proud of you. His glory gives us a reason to celebrate everyday!
Hopefully this message blesses you. I’m always excited to read this scripture or hear ministers preach this sermon. In our day-to-day we often feel the opposite; like we’re free-falling into failure, full of mistakes and can’t get it right, or cast away and placed on the outside with scorn. But Jude 1:24 exposes the lie in that thinking/feeling and confirms the truth of God’s love.
